The Molteni Kensington armchair from Molteni is a luxury designer armchair in three styles, all supremely comfortable with enveloping lines and calibrated proportions, perfect for sinking into to chill out or chat with friends.

On a fixed or swivel base, the all-in-one frame with generous armrests supports an ergonomic seat. The central four-spoke base, in pewter coloured laser-cut welded steel with non-slip plastic feet tips, carries the slightly sloping frame for greater comfort.

Choose a low back, high back or high back bergere chair, each of which can be matched with a practical footrest.

To personalise your chair, the leather-clad outer shell can be paired with a leather inner frame for a refined mono material effect, or with an inner frame in an exclusive Molteni&C fabric for a pleasing contrast. Please see the order notes in the Sizes & Finishes tab for details. You can also provide your own fabric, subject to approval by Molteni.

Simple and refined, Kensington suits homes as well as lounges, waiting rooms and executive offices. A matching South Kensington sofa is also available (see related products), and our interior design service can help you put the whole room together.

Colours & Finishes

Chair covers in fabric or leather from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni. Samples of all Molteni's fabrics and leathers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

Order notes:
If leather is selected all parts are considered to be in the same category & colour. If parts are the same category but different colours, a surcharge of 10% will be applied. For covers in different categories of leather, the price used is for the superior category.

If fabric is selected the underseat shell is always in leather which is available in all categories and colours in the
Molteni&C leather collection. Please specify preferences when ordering. Higher category leathers may incur a surcharge.

The pewter coloured laser-cut, welded steel base to be fixed or swivelling. Feet tips in non-slip plastic.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
