Deliveries & Lead Times

UK Deliveries

We deliver & assemble throughout the entire UK and our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two hour time slots (London) or three hour time slots (the rest of the UK). Our UK delivery teams will always contact you before arranging any delivery and deliveries are normally during the week between 9am to 5pm - though they try to be as flexible as possible and can occasionally work outside these times.

Our UK delivery prices include delivery to the room of your choice, as well as any assembly required, unpacking and removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory and will need the original packaging to do so.

We also carry out complicated installations for wardrobes, wall units, bookcases, home offices, children's bedrooms and other fitted furniture (we’re proud to say that our installation team is one of the best in the country) but they are sometimes location limited so please discuss with us before ordering.

Scotland & the Highlands

Delivery to Edinburgh, right up into the beautiful Highlands of Scotland incurs no additional cost. We have numerous clients in Scotland & an installation team for wardrobes, wall units etc. 

Channel Islands & Northern Ireland

We regularly deliver to the Channel Islands, & Northern Ireland, however these are delivery only, without assembly/installation.If you have a project we can arrange to send an expert installation lead, or even a team, so you can ensure everything is installed to the highest standards.

Lead Times

Almost everything we sell is made to order, to your specifications, so we don't hold stock - lead times to you range from 2-4 weeks (Quickship/some garden furniture) to 10-12 weeks. This enables us to offer excellent value for money (no stock holding costs), along with an unrivalled choice of products in a fantastic choice of finishes.

Please note that most of our European suppliers close completely for all of August, as well as over Christmas and Easter, which will add extra days/weeks to our lead times.

As everything we sell is made-to-order most of our sales are not governed by the Distance Selling Regulations, so as well as contacting us before ordering to check everything is as it should be please read the Go Modern Terms & Conditions before placing an order. Cancellations can be made within the first few days after ordering, but after that unfortunately we need to charge a 40% re-stocking fee as we will generally have no way or re-selling your order to anyone else.
