About Us

OUR COMPANY

Go Modern was established in 2006 out of a passion for contemporary European design. We have a small showroom on London’s Kings Road with a regularly changing display of furniture highlighting many of the brands we represent. If you are reading this you will also know that we have an easy to navigate website with beautiful detailed images and information about all of the products we sell.

At Go Modern we like to make shopping as easy as possible. Our website filters enable you to search by particular brands, product types, sizes and shapes, finishes and colours. You can also specify your particular price range. We regularly update and add new designs to the site and our Magazine carries features on the latest arrivals, trends and designer interviews with stories behind the products.

OUR BRANDS

Our well-known European designers and manufacturers include top names such as Porada, Lema, Bonaldo, Bontempi Cassa, Jesse, Gallotti&Radici, Missoni Home, Zanotta and Reflex.

Alongside this we also champion smaller, quirkier brands such as Mogg, Miniforms, Ozzio and Design by Nico. Our outdoor furniture collection is supplied by the most highly regarded specialists in the industry including leading Belgian companies Manutti and Tribù along with Point from Spain.

All of the brands we partner with share our philosophy: a passion for quality, innovation and attention to detail. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

WHAT WE DO

Along with offering contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories for every room in the house and garden we also specialise in freestanding and fitted wardrobes and storage such as wall units. Our exciting and innovative bedroom furniture for children and teenagers is designed and supplied by Italian specialists Nidi. We also sell the highest quality eco-friendly bioethanol fires, suitable for indoors and out.

Our services include in-house CAD designers along with an expert and experienced delivery and installation team. We work with both private and trade clients and also ensure that everything we sell strictly adheres to UK fire regulations for materials and fabrics. We deliver our furniture throughout the UK and Ireland, other European countries and the rest of the world. In fact at the last count we had delivered to over 70 countries worldwide!

Our extensive and personally chosen selection of modern furniture is always and only from the best, most tried and trusted of Europe’s designers and manufacturers, many of whom we have worked with since our inception. Our reputation and the personalised service we offer is highly important to us. Our aim is to share our passion for contemporary design and to help you create a beautiful home.

The Go Modern showroom is open Monday to Saturday (please see our contacts page for details and a map). If you live outside London please contact us for more information about anything, or to request samples/fabric swatches. You can of course order everything easily online.

OUR TERMS

Everything we sell is made to order and, as with all companies who specialise in customised items, our Terms and Conditions regarding returns/cancellations are very strict. This is because returned items cannot be resold to anyone else. They will have been made for you alone and to your precise specifications. To see our full Terms & Conditions please click here. We ask that you please read this carefully before ordering.

GO MODERN IN THE PRESS

We regularly feature in top UK titles in print and online. The press love our designs as much as we do. Look out for us in the pages of all the top glossy magazines along with many of the quality broadsheets at home and abroad. We also once featured in GQ magazine’s “100 best things in the world right now” – and we’re still glowing from that one.
