The Molteni Gio Ponti D.555.1 coffee table is part of luxury Italian brand Molteni&C's Gio Ponti Collection, re-issuing furniture by Gio Ponti, the great Twentieth century architect and designer.

Created for Gio Ponti's own house in via Dezza, Milan, this small table was designed in 1954-1955 and is now made by Molteni&C from the original drawings in the Ponti archives. The top is transparent extralight glass over a striking steel grid, hand painted in several colours.

Every piece carries a serial number and a screen-printed signature of the architect guaranteeing its origin and authenticity.

The Gio Ponti collection also includes dining tables, sideboards, armchairs, coffee tables such as the D.552.2, shelving, rugs and accessories - see related products below.
