The Gio Ponti D.754.1 rug from Molteni was originally designed in 1954 by Gio Ponti, the great twentieth-century architect and designer.

Over 60 years later it is reborn from the original drawings in the Gio Ponti Archives, thanks to the Molteni&C Heritage Collection reissue project. As with every Heritage Collection piece, careful study of the drawings, photos and period materials has made it possible to faithfully reproduce the rug in all its details.

Featuring a striking geometric pattern, this luxury designer rug is made of pony leather in several colours. It perfectly matches the rest of the Gio Ponti collection, such as the D.859.1 dining table and D.552.2 coffee table, as well as Molteni's extensive range of living, dining and bedroom furniture.

Every piece in the Gio Ponti Heritage collection, which includes dining tables, sideboards and shelving units, carries a serial number and complies with the design and materials in the original Gio Ponti documents. A screen-printed signature of the famous architect is a further guarantee of origin and authenticity.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
