The Cross lounge chair from Bonaldo is a luxury Italian armchair and a balanced, original reinterpretation of the classic twentieth-century lounge chair.

Designed by the award-winning Belgian designer Alain Gilles, its completely exposed metal frame plays with the traditional x-shaped base, emphasised here until it becomes a graphic statement and an integral part of the chair's identity.

The padded seat and backrest have generous, exaggerated proportions, and the armrest is a single metal tube that bends back at the front, stopping just short of the backrest.

The upholstery can be chosen in several categories of fabric, eco leather or Capri leather in a huge variety of colours from the Bonaldo collection, or you can supply your own material, subject to approval. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you. For the frame and armrests choose from a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo armchairs are available in a huge choice of fabrics, ecoleathers and leathers; including nubuk leather. Alternatively you can use your own fabric - subject to it's suitability for the design. We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home. The metal feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes.

All finishes are shown in the PDF, but please note that not all fabrics are available for all armchairs.

We have samples of fabrics and lacquers at our showroom for you to come in to view or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All upholstery conforms strictly to UK fire safety regulations, for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes any assembly required, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
