The Basket bed by renowned Italian furniture manufacturer Bonaldo is a beautiful upholstered bed. With a headboard that encompasses the top of the bed and it's padded frame, this luxurious bed is one of our most popular.

The Bonaldo Basket bed can be covered in several fabrics, ecoleather (a high quality faux leather), or real leather. Bonaldo have too many fabrics to show online, but we have samples available to view at our London showroom & some fabrics can also be mailed out to you.

The wooden feet are lacquered and are available in either silver or anthracite grey. The fabric and leather covers are fully removable.

It is also possible to have an ultra practical storage base, with gas pistons under lift up mattress slats, so the entire area of the base can be used for storage - even when the bed is fully made up.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The metal feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option, & contact our team if you are unsure.
