Full Details of the Tribu Otto Table Collection

This is the low version of the Tribu Otto round garden dining table by Marc Merckx which is just 66cm high (dining tables are usually about 74cm high) so it is a perfect height for casual dining especially when matched with lounge chairs.

Part of the wider Otto table collection all of which feature stunning bases that are inspired by a rhythmic ribbon pattern, often found in Italian bar counters from the 1940s. Made in Belgium, the collection also references ancient architectural pillars with their typical fluted pattern. The robust yet elegantly patterned A-grade teak base supports a floating round table top in ceramic or natural travertine, to create a timeless design which will look good in any outdoor setting.

There are two colours of ceramic to choose from sabbia or scisto both of which may show delicate veins. Garden suitable ceramic is stain-repellent, scratch & frost proof, UV-resistant with an elegant look giving it a subtle, luxurious appearance.

Travertine stone is a natural material with unique characteristics & a distinctive porous texture. It has soft, neutral tones which range from warm beige to cool grey, ensuring that every top is unique. It is stain-sensitive, so if oil, red wine, or any other liquids or acids are absorbed they will result in a permanent stain making the table a living thing that, in time, displays subtle changes in colour and even surface structure, a product that becomes more & more unique with every use.

Colours & Finishes

The base is made from hand selected A-grade teak grown on plantations in East Java. The table top can be in sabbia or scisto ceramic both of which may feature delicate veins, or Travertine stone which is a natural material with unique characteristics. Oil, red wine, as well as other liquids and acids are absorbed, resulting in a permanent stain.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes any assembly required, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
