The System 01 Kitchen from Record Cucine combines contemporary Italian design with warm natural materials and some particularly clever storage details. Designed around a large island and full-height bank of cabinetry, it is an elegant choice for an open-plan kitchen where the kitchen itself forms an important part of the interior.
Shown here with base units and snack top in beautiful Rovere Moresco oak veneer, the natural wood is contrasted with tall units in matt Grafite lacquer and a Grigio quartz worktop. Soft Salvia green lacquered wall panelling adds another layer of colour, creating a sophisticated palette which feels warm and inviting rather than overly minimal.
The large island provides plenty of preparation and storage space, with an extended snack top supported by a clear glass leg creating an informal area for eating or entertaining. An open compartment built into the side of the tall units provides additional shelving in matching Rovere Moresco, helping to visually connect the different elements of the kitchen.
One of our favourite details is the integrated Storage Tray behind the worktop. This creates useful additional storage immediately to hand while allowing the work surface itself to remain uncluttered. The accompanying boiserie wall panelling system is both decorative and practical, and can be customised in different heights and lengths with shelves and a choice of metal accessories.
As with all Record Cucine kitchens, System offers an exceptionally broad choice of colours and materials, so this composition can be completely reinterpreted to suit your interior. Finishes range from practical wood, stone and textured melamines through to Fenix, HPL laminates, matt and gloss lacquer, metallic finishes, glass effects and real wood veneers.
The flexibility extends well beyond the finishes. Cabinet sizes, storage, internal accessories and the arrangement of islands, tall units, wall units and open elements can all be adapted to the individual room, allowing our designers to create a kitchen around the way you actually want to use the space.
Made in Italy, Record Cucine offers a particularly attractive combination of contemporary design, extensive choice and sensible pricing. System is therefore equally suited to individual homes and property development projects where a more architectural, designer appearance is wanted without moving into the price bracket of a fully bespoke kitchen.
