The Jay 01 Kitchen from Record Cucine is a warm, contemporary Italian kitchen designed particularly well for open-plan living. Combining a generous island with an integrated dining table, full-height storage and architectural wall panelling, it creates a kitchen that feels very much part of the wider interior rather than a purely functional space.
Shown here with base and tall units in Grigio Ombra and contrasting Noce Vivo wall units and table, the Jay recessed profile gives the cabinetry a clean handleless appearance. The dark Pave Nero worktop and splashback add depth, while the timber finishes soften the overall look.
One of the most interesting features of this particular composition is the panelled wall incorporating a concealed passage into a pantry area. Behind the hinged door, open base units and shelving provide useful additional storage while keeping the main kitchen streamlined and uncluttered. The adjoining Step modular bookcase allows the cabinetry to continue naturally into the living area and can be configured in different widths to suit the space.
There are numerous practical details available too, including integrated LED lighting beneath the wall units, accessory rails for utensils and discreet built-in electrical sockets within the island.
As with all Record Cucine kitchens, Jay offers an exceptionally wide choice of finishes and colours. Options include wood, stone and textured melamines, super-matt and gloss finishes, metallics, Fenix, HPL laminates and matt or gloss lacquers, so the same kitchen can be given a completely different character depending on the materials selected.

We can work with trade clients or retail customers. Working closely with you we will take care of all design - our Kitchen Designers are also Interior Designers, & will manage all fitting & worktops/appliances (we can source all major brands). Worktops can be crafted from a variety of materials, from rare marbles to stone/quartzite or even ceramic.
