The Saba Wabi bed by Alain Gilles combines, in a harmonious gesture, the sculptural architecture of the feet with the soft contrast of the headboard.

Celebrating simplicity, the fully upholstered Wabi bed has an oval wooden structured headboard which is padded with polyurethane foam with a central, softer insert created to give extra comfort for your back. An added detail is the beautiful piping on the seam along the perimeter of both the headboard and frame.

A special feature of the Wabi bed is that you can choose where to position the feet, they can be in an external vertical position in line with the bed frame, or they can be positioned horizontally inside the bed frame for a more discreet look - see detailed images. The feet are in solid ash which can be selected in a blanched finish, or open-pore painted in black or walnut. Bed base slats included.

For the upholstery you can choose from a huge selection of beautiful Saba fabrics and leathers in a vast array of colours, or you can supply your own material. All covers are fully removable. For a suitable hand-made mattress click here.

There are three sizes to choose from, with the king size bed being a few centimetres larger than a standard UK king size, giving you plenty of room to tuck in your bedding. If internal feet are chosen for the two largest size beds, then they will have an additional central support foot.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries (including assembly & removal of packaging) in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: The base of this bed is made in one large piece, & slats can not be split - so please check access very carefully & discuss with our team before ordering if you have stairs etc. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible.
