Created by Giuseppe Vigano, the generously proportioned Softbay bed from Italian brand Porada is part of their Softbay collection which perfectly blends style and comfort.

Featuring a deep padded headboard and bed base with removable fabric covers in a several categories, including velvet. Smart feet are in solid canaletta walnut or ash which can be left natural, stained or matt lacquered in a range of colours to suit your design scheme.

Bed slats are in curved and flexible beech plywood with sliding stiffness adjusters. Or, as an alternative you can choose a plywood bed base with width wide cuts for ventilation of the mattress.

Softbay is available in two sizes - Super King and a luxuriously large Emperor size. If you are ordering online please specify your fabric choices in the order notes.

Colours & Finishes

Porada beds are available in an extensive selection of fabrics, ecoleathers and leathers. Not all fabrics lend themselves to all designs, however, so please check the specific product options. The frame & legs are made from solid Canaletta walnut or ash which can be left natural or stained or matt lacquered. All finishes are shown in the above pdf.

Samples of all Porada's fabrics, leathers, woods and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific samples to you on request.

We have priced everything to include UK fire retardant fabrics/foam, (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Our deliveries are made during the week, in two hour time slots, and include any assembly required, as well as removal of all packaging. Please check your items carefully before packaging is taken away though, to ensure everything is in perfect condition.

We can also deliver to the UK Islands, and abroad to almost any country, and do so regularly. We also offer a delivery only service (without assembly or unpacking). Please contact us for a quote/more details.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
