Domenica Bed Upholstery & Finishes

This is the storage version of the Domenica bed with a fully upholstered base, a luxury Italian storage bed from Pianca. Simply lift up the mattress to reveal a large dust proof compartment below.

There are two types of storage slats: standard slats that lift up at one end only, or Pratik storage slats which lift up and out to sit horizontally (shown here).

Upholstery is in several categories of Pianca fabric, ecoleather or leather, or your own material subject to approval. You can also combine two different options for the inside and outside of the bed for a really luxurious look (the highest price category will apply). The exposed black zip runs all the way around the base & headboard, a key feature of the bed's profile.

Available in three sizes: UK king, Euro king or Super king. We can also provide a top quality hand-made mattress to fit exactly - to see our mattress collection please click here.

The Domenica collection also includes a bed without a storage base and a Domenica bed with a metal framed base - see related products. Our interior design service can help you plan the whole bedroom.

Pianca also offer extremely customisable wardrobes, bedroom furniture, wall units, bookcases and living & dining furniture to match. To see their complete collection click here. To see all of our luxury Italian upholstered beds click here.

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded, please Contact Us for further details.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option for your base when you order as these can not be split on site.
