Domenica Bed Upholstery & Finishes

The Domenica bed from luxury Italian furniture brand Pianca is a designer upholstered bed and a tribute to Sundays, inviting you to relax in a solid, warm and protective embrace, cocooned by its soft shapes. One single continuous line draws a delicate, organic silhouette.

The exposed black zip is a key feature of the bed's profile, turning a functional element into a distinctive detail. The metal base gives the bed the appearance of floating above the ground, in black or white matt lacquer, or a matt or gloss metallic finish.

Upholstery is in several categories of Pianca fabric, ecoleather or leather, or your own material subject to approval. You can also combine two different options for the inside and outside of the bed for a really luxurious look (the highest price category will apply). Samples can be viewed in our London showroom and cuttings mailed out to you.

Available in three sizes: UK king, Euro king or Super king. We can also provide a top quality hand-made mattress to fit exactly - to see our mattress collection please click here.

The Domenica collection also includes a bed with an upholstered base instead of legs; both styles are available with storage bases - see related products.

Pianca also offer extremely customisable wardrobes, bedroom furniture, wall units, bookcases and living & dining furniture to match. To see their complete collection click here. To see all of our luxury Italian upholstered beds click here.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option for your base when you order as these can not be split on site.
