The Palinfrasca corner sofa from Molteni is part of the Palinfrasca Landmark collection of luxury garden sofas, armchairs, love seats, daybeds and modular elements, all with an iconic rounded shape.

Based on a piece created for Molteni in 1994, the collection combines solid teak, rich in refined cabinet-making details, with a highly distinctive woven warp and weft motif.

Each gently curving natural teak frame is intricately woven in teak or olive green EVA polyurethane, a pliable yet non-deformable weather resistant material reminiscent of leather. Deep, generous cushions give a sense of abundance and softness, and the moulded polyurethane seat cushion with variable densities gives maximum support for immersive comfort.

Removable covers are in outdoor, draining, weather-resistant fabrics in several categories including the Musco collection developed with Limonta Spa: seven monochrome or striped jacquard and boucl√© yarns inspired by shades of nature, which can be combined to match or contrast.

We have priced two corner sofas: Composition 1 (detailed images), 299cm wide, with a sofa end module and a chaise longue module; and the larger Composition 2 (main image), 356cm wide, with two sofa end modules and one chaise longue. For correct ergonomics Molteni suggest adding 5-8 seat back cushions and 3-7 lumbar cushions.

Colours & Finishes

Frame in solid natural teak interwoven in a macro-scale warp and weft pattern in either teak or olive green EVA polyurethane bands. Cushion covers in fabrics from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
