The Molteni&C Mateo table is a beautiful round luxury dining table designed for entertaining and the easy-going atmosphere of Italian hospitality - elegant, minimal and true to the soul of the Molteni brand.

Its striking feature is the slightly flared cylindrical pedestal base, divided vertically in two. Made of curved plywood, the symmetrical halves meet in an open furrow, a completely new and unexpected design element, while a hidden lacquered metal rod ensures stiffness where the base meets the top.

Available in four round sizes, the gently tapered top comes in glossy lacquer in any Molteni colour, coffee or sunrise oak, or several marbles in a matt or glossy polyester finish. The base comes in the same wood or gloss lacquer finishes or a burnished matt lacquer metal finish (see separate listing for wooden finishes). A shiny steel base is also an option - please contact us for further details.

Pictured in burgundy glossy lacquer, coffee oak and pine green glossy lacquer with the Janet dining chairs, seen in the related products with the Mateo oval and lounge tables. The two larger marble tables, 180cm and 200cm, have tops divided into four sections, and not all top options are available in all sizes.

You can also add a Lazy Susan, a rotating central tray from oriental culture which lets all diners be served in a practical way, creating intimate moments of conviviality, in calacatta, emperador dark, red lepanto or black marquina marble, 80cm or 100cm.

Colours & Finishes

Available in four round sizes. Table tops are in coffee or sunrise oak, glossy lacquer in any of the Molteni range of colours, or matt or gloss polyester finish marble in calacatta, emperador dark, or black marquina. The 180cm and the 200cm diameter marble tables have table tops divided into four sections.

The base can be selected in the same wood or gloss lacquer finishes as well as a burnished matt lacquer metal finish. There is also an option to choose a shiny steel base, please contact us for further details.

Lazy Susan in calacatta, emperador dark, or black marquina marble in two sizes; 80cm (for the 160cm and 180cm tables) and 100cm diameter (for the 200cm table).

As marble is a natural finish a certain amount of irregularities (small fissures) can be expected on the marble top, such irregularities are inherent to the types of the marble used.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
