The Living Box open sideboard from luxury Italian brand Molteni was conceived as an independent piece of designer furniture, usable in any room of the house but mainly suited to the living room.

Living Box is a low but large (230cm, 280cm, 330cm or 380cm wide) doorless rectangular sideboard in which outside and inside contrast through the use of different materials. The frame is finished in Eucalyptus or a lovely new Sunrise Oak, a very light shade skilfully achieved by Molteni's expert cabinet makers and enhanced by irregular brushing, a time-honoured process reinvented in a modern style.

The top comes in the same woods or several stunning marble options, and the whole piece is enclosed within an iris or pewter frame, thin and thread-like seen from above but forming a thick surrounding profile seen from the front.

The inside recalls a "magical cave" with no sharp corners, thanks to special curved corner-covers. Accentuate it with LED lighting, elegant stand-alone drawer sets in a range of finishes, or tape fronted containers so you can easily activate your set top box, hi-fi or games console. Integrated trunking can also be fitted to connect multimedia equipment, TVs or lighting.

Living Box is perfect against a wall as a traditional sideboard or storage unit, can stand anywhere in a room as a partition or room divider, and can even be wall mounted if required.

With four sizes and lots of finish options, for ease we have priced the smallest standard unit (not shown), as well as the larger piece in the main image in Eucalyptus with an iris frame and a Sahara Noir marble top. The internal configuration of drawers is a personal choice, so these are not included in the prices shown - please contact one of our design team, or ask about our interior design service for the whole room.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.

Please note that wall mounting is NOT included in our delivery price. However, it may be possible for us to wall mount this for you - subject to your location. Pricing will depend on the size of your composition, so please contact us before ordering if you require wall mounting.

You will also need to check your wall carefully, as many internal walls are not suitable for heavy shelving - you may need to attach this to a brick/load bearing wall. Check with us if you are unsure.
