Made in Italy by Molteni&C and designed by Rodolfo Dordoni the Molteni South Kensington sofa has rounded curves and is reminiscent of the futuristic 2001 Space Odyssey, a design that was all the rage in the 1960s, but with a contemporary look.

Comfortable and stylish, South Kensington is an instant classic. Available as a two or three-seater sofa, with an all-in-one seat and a medium height backrest, it is suitable for both residential and hospitality solutions for lobbies and lounges.

The use of avantgarde materials and the extreme attention to detail, as well as the chance to match with the Kensington armchair (see related products) with which it shares the basic concepts, make this an indisputable and exceptionally versatile sofa.

The base is laser-cut, welded steel and can be selected in glossy pewter or glossy zinc. Feet tips in non-slip plastic.

For the upholstery you can choose from any of the fabrics and leathers from the Molteni & C collection, not all of which can be shown here. More information can be obtained from our design team who can send samples and discuss all the options with you in more detail. You can also provide your own fabric subject to approval by Molteni. Scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.

Colours & Finishes

Sofa covers in fabric or leather from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni. Scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.

Samples of all Molteni's fabrics and leathers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
