Designed by Vincent van Duysen for luxury Italian brand Molteni, the Molteni&C Gregor sofa is a totally flexible modular seating system with straight, corner or peninsular units that can be mixed and matched together to give multiple combinations for any living space.
A special feature of the Gregor sofa is the option to have the steel base, normally in a zinc finish, covered in leather. This option also applies to the winged armrests which are suitable for supporting soft cushions while at the same time acting as a useful surface or table.
The backrest follows the Belgian designer’s classic approach to sofas: large with raised stitching, but featuring an innovative solution for the corner, which in this design is rounded so as to give continuity to the form. As an alternative to the special winged armrest, there is also a trapezoidal, padded, slightly flared version, that offers a more comfortable seating experience.
For the upholstery you can choose from any of the fabrics and leathers from the Molteni & C collection, not all of which can be shown here. More information can be obtained from our design team who can send samples and discuss all the options with you in more detail. You can also provide your own fabric subject to approval by Molteni.
With so many different possible compositions as well as various fixed sofas, it is impossible to price them all here. So for ease we have priced the large corner sofa shown in the main image which is 400cm wide and 259cm deep and consists of an end element with a winged armrest, a large chaise longue and an island element. The price is for Cat B fabric. Please note that none of the cushions are included in this price but can be purchased separately.
