The Molteni Gio Ponti D.655.1 chest of drawers is part of luxury Italian brand Molteni&C's Gio Ponti Collection, re-issuing furniture by Gio Ponti, the great Twentieth century architect and designer.

Gio Ponti designed several versions of the D.655 between 1952 and 1955 for customers including Singer & Sons. It stands out for its hand painted white drawer fronts with applied handles in elm, Italian walnut, mahogany and rosewood, on an elmwood structure resting on satin brass feet.

There are two sizes: the D.655.1 with eight drawers and the smaller D.655.2 with three.

Every piece complies with the design and materials in the original Gio Ponti documents, and carries a serial number and a screen-printed signature of the architect guaranteeing its origin and authenticity.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
