Designed by Francesco Faccin the stunning Pelleossa Stool is made in Italy by innovative furniture manufacturers Miniforms.
A slender, eclectic stool that expresses its character through its fine details. Inspired by the Italian chairs of pre-industrial times, Pelleossa is built with traditional materials and a unique technology, the lathe. The name pelleossa (pelle - skin and ossa - bones) evokes simplicity and lightness.
Updated for 2020, the seat can now be covered in straw rushes which derive from the canna indica plant. This new option is extremely durable. A checkered weave pattern is the strongest way to rush a seat because it distributes the weight evenly across the surface. This weaving process is particularly complex and demands a combination of strength and absolute precision. You can also select the seat in either leather or fabric in a variety of colours,
The solid wood frame has a gently curving backrest as well as a useful footrest and can be selected in oak, or black or stained walnut aniline.
