Designed by Matthew Townsend this version of the sunrise garden chair has armrests, a matching Sunrise dining chair without armrests is also available and can be seen in the related products.Comfortable and supportive, with a solid teak frame there are two different finish combinations to choose from. Firstly, you can select a brushed teak frame with a fabric of your choice, or secondly a teak scuro frame with a backrest in black pvc Batyline textile.
All the teak that Manutti use is responsibly sourced from ecological plantations. Brushed Teak is where the surface of the teak has been roughened to highlight its inherent grain, creating a warm natural textured finish. After buffing, a protective coating is added to ensure the piece is not only water repellent and stain resistant, but also offers anti-fungal and UV protection.
Teak Scuro is an oil-based impregnation that allows for a luxurious matt black finish where the natural grain of the wood is still visible. The treatment both nourishes and protects the wood, it is also eco-friendly.
Manutti suggest adding a cushion set for extra comfort which is available in two styles. A Casual set which has an informal look with elegant piping around the seat & back (see detailed images), or a Regular Cushion Set which has a fuller look & no piping. Both sets comprise of a seat & back cushion made with outdoor, quick-drying, high performance foam surrounded by a water-repelling interliner (that acts like a raincoat).
For the covers Manutti have chosen Salty White (Cat B) which is part of their Quick Ship Program & normally available within 2-4 weeks, or you can choose from a huge range of other water-resistant UV-treated outdoor fabrics in 3 categories all of which are carefully designed & engineered to withstand the harshest weather conditions.
