The Sunrise sofa is part of the Sunrise collection designed by Matthew Townsend for Belgian brand Manutti who are renowned for their excellent quality and attention to detail.
This incredibly comfortable garden sofa has a solid teak frame and is available in three different finish combinations. Firstly, you can select a brushed teak frame with either a salty white or a toscana fabric seat back, or you can choose a teak scuro frame which has a black Batyline textile seat back.
All the teak that Manutti use is responsibly sourced from ecological plantations. Brushed Teak is where the surface of the teak has been roughened to highlight its inherent grain, creating a natural textured finish. After buffing, a protective coating is added to ensure the piece is not only water repellent and stain resistant, but also offers anti-fungal and UV protection.
Teak Scuro is an oil-based impregnation that allows for a luxurious matt black finish where the natural grain of the wood is still visible. The treatment both nourishes and protects the wood, it is also eco-friendly.
Priced to include the cushion set which comprises of a seat cushion, a wrap-around back cushion and either three or five scatter cushions (depending on the size of sofa) all of which have outdoor, quick dry foam fillings and covers in a great choice of water resistant outdoor fabrics.
Manutti have used a designer to select fabric combinations for the cushion covers which they feel are perfectly suited to this collection. The standard fabric choice is Salty White which is part of the Quick Ship Program and will be available within 2-4 weeks.
