The Glas Italia Sherazade patchwork sliding glass doors are divided into four parts, in a patchwork pattern. These stunning doors can be used both as a wardrobe door or as a partition between spaces and are available in a huge range of sizes & glass finishes, or custom made to suit any living area.
Offering both elegance and attention to detail the Sherazade sliding door system designed by Piero Lissoni comprises of an adjustable one-way or more-ways rail, contained in an aluminium beam, fixed to the wall, or ceiling, recessed into the drywall or hanging. Both the beam and rail are supplied custom-cut. It is also possible to use the doors as fixed panels which are installed with two profiles fixed to the ceiling and floor.
The patchwork doors are divided into four sections & arranged in eight configurations and each section can be chosen in the same or different monolithic 6mm, or laminated 3+3mm thick tempered glass in an incredible variety of glass finishes, including transparent, coloured, acid etched, reflecting, lacquered, or fluted glass, as well as patterned glass with mesh, or fabric, all in a wide selection of colours.
Around each door is a frame in either aluminium, or wood veneered aluminium both available in several finishes. The doors are hung on a rail with a fluent & silent sliding mechanism, and the closing of the doors, thanks to a soft motion placed at the end of the rail, is very soft and precise.
There are also a range of options for the handles, which can be selected with or without a lock and with several kinds of door-striker profiles.
