The Glas Italia Boxinbox storage unit by Philippe Starck is part of a sophisticated series of functional design objects characterised by a distinctive “box within a box” concept. Each piece is crafted from 5+5mm laminated extralight glass, thermo-welded at 45° angles for perfect transparency and seamless construction.

Available in six sizes, these transparent boxes rest on a reflective polished stainless steel base, creating an elegant interplay of light, shadow, and reflection. Within the outer glass shell, a second inner storage element is inserted with either a single shelf or multiple shelves depending on the size selected, made from transparent coloured glass available in a range of colours which offers a refined contrast and layered spatial depth.

The collection also includes a low storage table 93cm wide featuring six laminated glass shelves, built with the same 5+5mm thermo-welded technique and mounted on a reflective base, harmonising with the rest of the collection’s visual language.

To complete the ensemble, extremely practical storage cases in zebrano wood with traditional dovetail joints introduce a tactile and natural material counterpoint to the glass and steel elements.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
