The dramatic Babu outdoor light collection by Massimiliano Raggi from Italian lighting specialist Contardi is available in three sizes and two designs: Babu Textile which features horizontal lines/patterns with a coloured trim in outdoor velvet; and Babu Tribal which has overlapping geometric designs.
Designer Massimiliano says of his Babu collection: “Ours is not a light with a design around it. It’s an interior design with a light inside it”. The result is a beautiful piece of robust three dimensional art combined with a light, which creates interesting optical shadows and excellent mood lighting for any exterior space.
The two distinct styles are a fusion of traditional prints and African tribal patterns, created using Sunbrella weatherproof fabric. The base of each light is made of champagne painted steel with the cataphoresis treatment (Marine Grade).
All lights are supplied with a 200cm black IP68 connector cable and on request, ground anchoring is available depending on the type of surface to be fixed upon.
