Custom Rugs

Custom hand made rugs are an important part of any design scheme, giving warmth & texture to a space & bringing colour palettes together. We design & supply hand made, completely custom rugs made by an artisan in Bhadohi, India - the same small region used by a famous rug company, as well as most in the know rug designers. 

Though we specialise in hand knotted rugs we also supply hand tufted, & hand woven rugs - in NZ wool, wool, silk, bamboo silk, viscose & outdoor fribres/PET. Any size, any pattern, any colour, with shaved/cut elements or without. In mixed materials, or in a single material. 

We have several hand knotted & hand tufted rugs on display in our showroom, most designed by our in house expert, Ricardo, & one inspired by some fabulous wallpaper we saw. The process is simple. We will look at different styles or rugs for your space & based on your existing (or proposed) colour scheme & design work together to create exactly the right rug design. Once you have agreed the colours & textures the design is sent to our amazing supplier, who will begin to make it. 

We only have a few examples online currently - these are part of our interior design service (though they can be bought on their own) & so aren't 'products' as such. However our prices are extremely reasonable, so if you have seen a luxury rug elsewhere & want to get it made to your specifications it is well worth talking to us.

Trade Enquiries: We provide both a stand alone, & an integrated trade service for our custom rugs, enabling you to source exactly the sizes, colours & textures you need. We have a large number of Romo group books (including Linara) plus paint charts from most brands, & RAL charts we can colour match with if you cant visit us, or can match any swatches you send - or of course we can match any furniture we are supplying.
