The Cattelan Italia Botero Wood dining table by Paolo Cattelan is solemn, sculptural, and strikingly modern, a testament to the finest Italian craftsmanship. Defined by minimalist elegance and exquisite materiality, it features a statuesque central base inspired by the voluptuous forms of artist Fernando Botero, soft yet bold, sensual yet refined.
The base which is hand covered in clay merges contemporary design with artisanal mastery, serving not just as support but as an artistic statement. The table top in two rich wood finishes, Canlaetto walnut, or burned oak, balances form and function to suit both classic and modern interiors.
There are several different sizes of both oval and barrel shaped table tops to choose from in three versions, each with their own special characteristics. For example, Version U is an oval shape with rounded edges, Version Y is an oval shape with bevelled edges in Canaletto walnut with details in burned oak, or burned oak with details in Canaletto walnut, & Version B is a barrel shape with angled edges.
For the base there are three colours of clay to choose from; Cairo, Oslo, or Marrakech and as the size of the table grows so does the size of the base, with the smaller tables having a compact base whilst the larger tables have a wider base to support the table top. The base plate is in black embossed lacquered steel, and for some sizes it is also possible to choose it in titanium or bronze, please check with us before ordering these finishes.
