The Bonaldo Nubo bed by Massimo Castagna is not merely a modern designer bed; it is an experience that transforms the way you spend time in the sleeping area. Shapes and elements come together in a sensory dialogue, giving life to an environment with a strong scenic impact that is both intimate and enveloping at the same time.

The geometry of the bed's headboard, low and sinuous, recalling the shape of a cloud, naturally welcomes the harmonious frame of the bed and attracts both the gaze and touch, while the fluidity of the undulating curves is an invitation to relax.

The padded boiserie rear panels, available in three sizes, further enrich the bed, becoming a natural extension of the design and helping to create a visual continuity that blurs the boundaries of the space, giving it depth and character.

For the upholstery you can choose from a range of fabric, leather, or eco-leather categories, or you can supply your own material subject to suitability, (or choose one of our options from Romo). Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you. Fabric covers are removable. Small feet are in black metal.

There are 4 bed sizes to choose from: king, Euro king, UK super king and US king. Slats are included but the mattress is not, however, we can provide a top-quality hand-made mattress, click here to see our mattress collection.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home. All finishes are shown in the attached pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option, & contact our team if you are unsure.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
