Bonaldo metal base colours

The James bench from Bonaldo is a luxury Italian upholstered bench inspired by the elegance of 1950s design, in particular the sophisticated stitching and needlework on its padded seat.

This is contrasted by the minimal, rigorous metal frame, with a clear distinction between the load-bearing surface and the four exposed cylindrical legs - a skilful interplay of proportions, materials and formal references.

For the removable covers choose from a range of fabric, leather or eco-leather categories, or supply your own material (or choose one of our options from Romo). The decorative piping is only available on the fabric covers. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you.

The ideal accompaniment to the James bed (see related products), it also makes a useful hallway accessory or extra living room seat.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The metal feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

144cm wide x 40cm deep x 39cm high

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please contact our team if you are unsure.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
