Perfect for inside or out the versatile Zeus and Teti side tables were designed by Prospero Rasulo for quirky Italian brand Zanotta. Zeus is a blue-brown colour, while Teti is a green-yellow colour.
Made from freeze resistant porcelanised ceramic stone with two layers applied by hand. Each table is shaped by casting the body in plaster moulds which are then partially dried and treated with salts and enamels (operations entirely done by hand). The firing for vitrifying the body and the enamel gives the surfaces a high degree of resistance. The processing from start to finish takes around 36 hours.
Shrinkage and change in colour of the material in the kilns is not entirely controllable. This results in every specimen being almost unique. Zeus and Teti are part of Zanotta Edizioni, a signed, limited edition collection.
