The Zanotta Karelia armchair by Liisi Beckman was one of the first frameless chairs made entirely of polyurethane foam and was a non-conformist pop icon of the Sixties.
This stunning chair is a symbol of that era and is back in production, its soft, wave-like surface draws inspiration from the designer's homeland, the Republic of Karelia in Finland, indented by bays and gulfs.
Removable covers are available in two fabric categories; Terso and Quantum which replaces the vinyl covers of the 1970s.
Made in Italy by Zanotta, a luxurious but sometimes quirky brand who are renowned for their iconic designs, many of which feature in museums internationally. They offer a beautiful collection of living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture, including many iconic & well known pieces.
