Villa Nova are part of the Romo group, a well establish British company with over 122 years of experience. The collection includes practical, family-friendly fabrics including 'Easy Clean' & washable plains, textured plains & patterned fabrics in up to date colourways. Environmentally friendly, many of their fabrics are Oeko-Tex 100 Certified, REACH compliant, & PFAS free.

A contemporary & vibrant brand Villa Nova creates distinctive and eclectic printed fabrics, decorative weaves, sheers, wallcoverings and cushions complemented by a spectrum of plain and semi-plain weaves. 

We have a large choice of fabrics from the Romo brands - because our luxury furniture is made in Italy, & unless a fabric has been treated with Fire Retardant chemicals, or is 75% or more natural fibres it can't be used on upholstered furniture in the UK. The EU (in fact the rest of the world) has different fire retardant standards for both the foam/fillings & the covers, so many practical fabrics with a higher percentage of non natural fibres aren't suitable. 

Buying furniture directly from Italy that doesn't have the UK FR label will void your home insurance, but as these standards apply to the UK only the fabric choices available are limited in Europe. In the UK fabrics are treated & labelled FR & non FR & are treated here before being sent to Italy.
