The Tribu Otto garden dining table has two A-grade sustainable teak bases inspired by a rhythmic ‘ribbon’ pattern, often found in Italian bar counters from the 1940s. This durable, timeless design significantly reduces the waste of precious teak.
Made in Belgium & designed by Marc Merckx, the Otto table collection also references ancient architectural pillars with their typical fluted pattern. The robust yet elegantly patterned bases support a floating rectangular table top in ceramic, or natural travertine stone, creating the perfect table for any outdoor setting.
There are two colours of ceramic to choose from sabbia or scisto both of which may show delicate veins. Garden suitable ceramic is stain-repellent, scratch & frost proof, UV-resistant with an elegant look giving it a subtle, luxurious appearance.
Travertine stone is a natural material with unique characteristics & a distinctive porous texture. It has soft, neutral tones which range from warm beige to cool grey, ensuring that every top is unique. It is stain-sensitive, so if oil, red wine, or any other liquids or acids are absorbed they will result in a permanent stain making the table a living thing that, in time, displays subtle changes in colour and even surface structure, a product that becomes more & more unique with every use.
Pictured here with the Suro garden armchairs Otto will also look good with any of Tribu's other seating collections. A smaller Otto round dining table, as well as a low dining table, a bar table & a coffee table are also available & can be seen in the related products.
Tribu's philosophy is that the terrace and garden are extensions of the home and with years of experience, their blend of quality, simplicity and elegance is unmatchable. To see their complete collection please click here, or for our full range of garden dining tables click here.
