The Tonelli Design Hemingway bookcase by Massimo Castagna is a versatile glass shelving system with a frame in solid wood that offers numerous possibilities for customisation due to its extensive range of modular elements.

Suitable for wall or ceiling fixing, the frame comprises of horizontal and vertical solid wood beams which can be selected in either Siberian Ash or Eucalyptus. Glass shelves in either extra clear glass or smoked glass are fitted with a fall arrest security system and fixed to the uprights through interlocking pins. Extra clear glass has been treated to remove the green tinge you get in standard glass. Metal inserts and supports are available in polished chrome or gold and the base feet are height adjustable.

Thanks to its reduced depth of only 37cm and the numerous formats available, the Hemingway bookcase adapts perfectly to any size of wall, both in your home or office. Standard heights are 260cm or 300cm, or it is also possible to choose a custom height.

To complete your unit Tonelli Design offer several optional extras including a wooden desk-top fitted with cable entry or a TV module with open storage, as well as horizontal storage units with flap openings, or vertical units with a hinge doors, all in either glass or wood.

The images show several different sizes, however with so many possibilities, for ease we have priced three standard compositions, (neither of which are shown) number 201 which is 81.2cm wide and number 203 which is 121.4cm wide. We have also priced composition number 406 which is similar to the main image but slightly wider. Please contact us to help you design your own bespoke arrangement.

Hemingway is fully customiseable, allowing you to choose the dimensions you prefer, fixing it to the ceiling or wall, or even adding other elements, such as: vertical or horizontal containers, desk and TV module (in addition to shelves of various sizes).

Delivery and installation is not included here, as it is based on the size of the final composition & the type of installation needed. Our expert fitters can install our shelving throughout most of the UK, or use your own tradesmen (who will need to be experienced with Italian systems).

As these are completely custom we cannot accept returns, & in the (rare) event of a manufacturing problem or delivery damage will re order & install the required parts at no additional cost instead. If you are ordering large shelves please check access carefully & discuss it with our team first.
