The Bonaldo River bed features an elegant upholstered headboard which gently curves inwards like "wings" to create a soft, cosy relaxing space, a warm embrace at the end of the day.

The generously padded headboard which merges into the slim bed surround is accentuated by two comfortable pillows all of which have fully removable covers in a huge range of fabrics and leathers in several categories of each. For the discreet cylindrical metal feet there are a range of finishes to choose from, including pearl gold or lead. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you.

Made in Italy, River will look good in any environment, it is equally at home within traditional furnishing solutions or when combined with contemporary design elements. The superior workmanship and attention to detail are evident in every stitch and in the use of quality materials.

There are 4 sizes to choose from: king, Euro king, UK super king and US king with two kinds of bed slats available for each; one piece slats or split slats. The River collection also includes a matching River bed with a deeper upholstered bed surround and a storage bed.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The metal feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please contact our team if you are unsure.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
