Mappa Mundi London (Black) is designed by the amazing artist Ewan David Eason and is part of our new collection of modern art.

For the Mappa Mundi series Ewan has taken inspiration from the study of maps from ancient to modern, as well as the organic and man-made patterns of our living landscapes. Ewan's use of gold defines the nature of our city and captures a true snapshot of our ever-changing landscapes that could potentially be re-written in as little as a decade. The extent of the detail in this piece is amazing, the city of London can be seen so clearly, whilst the overview stays abstract and linear.

This piece has been created with black UV treated ink on hand gilded Dutch gold leaf on dibond and is unframed. It is 69cm x 69cm and is an edition of just 1 of 25.
