The Saba New York storage bed with gas powered lift up storage base is part of the extensive New York collection of modern beds, sofas and armchairs all designed by Sergio Bicego and made in Italy.
The lifting system for the storage bed has two movements, a 45 ° and a horizontal opening. In addition to allowing the convenient and quick access to the storage box with the first movement, it allows you to make the bed in perfect posture keeping the structure in a horizontal position and staying within the size of the bed.
The generously upholstered headboard, pictured here in midnight blue velvet, spills either side of the frame and continues seamlessly around the edge of the bed. There are three sizes to choose from. The king size bed is a few centimetres larger than a standard king size, giving you plenty of room to tuck in your bedding.
