Molteni Sway Garden Sofa

The Molteni&C Sway garden sofa is a luxury outdoor sofa in two standard sizes, part of a groundbreaking modular seating system which merges a love for nature with mastery in design.

Part of the Molteni Landmark garden collection, Sway redefines outdoor spaces with its versatility and fluid forms. The range comprises two standard sized sofas (seen here), two chaise longues and several modular elements which combine into any number of seating arrangements, plus a pouf and coffee tables.

Each piece sits on a teak base, a sturdy foundation for the ergonomic seats. The aluminium backrest, softened by polypropylene rope weaving in refined ecru, has a soft texture akin to cotton. Golden-hour painted C-shaped aluminium side and back elements embrace the base and padded seat and act as a pivot for the backrest. The same corrosion-free aluminium is used for the feet.

Generous cushions, moulded from polyurethane with variable densities, give support that will not wane with time. The upholstery is weather-resistant and breathable, with easily removable covers in several categories of fabric, or you can supply your own material subject to approval.
