Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, for Italian furniture brand Molteni, the Molteni & C Chelsea modular sofa has a solid wood frame and multiple elements can be combined together to create a large and extremely comfortable seating system.
Molteni's master craftsmen use only the finest raw materials characterised by their ethos for "quality every day and in every detail". Elegant and sophisticated, the Chelsea sofa is testament to this ethos with its well-proportioned design, ergonomic seat and traditional hand-craftsmanship.
The fully removable sofa covers are available in a variety of fabrics and leathers from the Molteni & C collection, not all of which can be shown here. The solid wood frame can be selected in several wood finishes, including eucalyptus.
Priced here is a 312 wide sofa which combines a side unit and the largest chaise longue. The main image shows the sofa with covers in Wasabi fabric and a grey oak (no longer available) frame. There are many other modules to choose from, all of which can be combined in a variety of different configurations to create your own bespoke arrangement. Scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.
