The Molteni Azul storage bed from top luxury furniture brand Molteni has an ultra-practical lift-up base, easy to raise even when fully made up, which opens to reveal a useful dust-free storage area.

Azul offers refined proportions, a slim upholstered base and an elegant winged headboard made from two sheets of bonded hide leather, fabric or leather sewn together. Molteni use only the finest raw materials, worked with passion and precision by master craftsmen using traditional techniques.

Upholstery can be chosen from Molteni's huge collection of fabrics and leathers in an amazing variety of colours and textures, and our design team can send samples and discuss the options. You can also provide your own fabric, subject to approval by Molteni. We can also supply a top quality hand-made mattress to fit; please view our mattress collection here.

The base opens in two ways: with a swing mechanism for easy access to the storage, or as a horizontal lift for extremely comfortable bed making.

Colours & Finishes

Upholstery in fabric or leather from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni. Samples of all Molteni's fabrics and leathers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

Feet are in chromed steel.

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded; please Contact Us for further details.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame & can not have split slats. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please contact our team.

If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
