The Molteni&C 1 2 3 chair is a luxury designer dining chair blending sophistication and comfort, emphasising the essence of colour and the purity of materials.

The name 1 2 3 whimsically reflects the search for the ideal number of vertical slats on the backrest. After careful testing, three slats were chosen, giving a structure of elegance and lightness.

Chairs with open backs have a visual lightness and a distinctive, iconic identity, and this idea led to three precisely arranged vertical slats within a solid beech frame.

Crafted and lacquered with care, the chair shows seamless joinery that enhances its minimalist aesthetic. The three slats also establish a rhythmic harmony, creating a subtle separation between the person seated and the surrounding environment.

Meticulous material selection and expert craftsmanship make the 1 2 3 chair a versatile addition to any setting, with geometric purity and graceful lightness.

Available in two versions: monochromatic, with a frame in glossy burgundy, black or petroleum blue and a matching coloured leather seat; or a glossy black frame with a seat in any of the fabrics or leathers from the Molteni&C collection, or your own material subject to approval.
