Mark Alexander Town Fabric

Town is one of Mark Alexander's signature fabrics, a luxury lambswool satin, made using 100% fine Merino Wool. Woven, dyed & finished in the UK. Anyoner familiar with Merino wool knows how incredibly practical it is, easy to keep clean, & it is also inherently Crib 5 fire retardant - suitable for contract or the home.

Town III consists of a range 44 colours - warm neutrals, with rich greens, blues, greys, reds & browns, & Town II offers a slightly broader palette of a further 44 colours.. The fabric has a subtle but elegant sheen, & also hangs beautifully for curtains & blinds. It's fine texture makes it suitable for use as covers on products that require precision & a clean finish, especially where piping & fine details are present. 

A high performing plain luxury fabric, with a martindale of 100,000, Town offers exceptional durability.

Most of our luxury Italian furniture has removable covers & the option to use C.O.M instead of the manufacturers fabric - useful as many Italian fabrics don't meet UK fire retardant standards, meaning options can be limited. Using the wrong fabrics & non UK FR foam can void your home insurance, & of course in a contract setting is simply not an option. 

We offer this & our other fabrics as part of our interior design service, & will arrange the fabric to be shipped to Italy (where the covers are made) or will specify it for curtains, blinds & bespoke pieces - headboards for example.
