The Bonaldo Geometric dining table designed by Alain Gilles is available in several different versions, this stunning solid marble table is the latest addition to the collection.
The table gets its name from the geometric way it changes shape depending on the observer's perspective. The concept is based on chameleon-like silhouettes, starting with the base: it's four legs with drop-shaped feet appear either thick, or sharp and thin, offering a different perception of their visual weight as you walk around the table. The rounded rectangular table top adds a further graceful feel.
Made in Italy and available in three sizes, both the base and table top are made from solid marble which can be selected in four finishes in either glossy or matt. Seen here in a glossy Rosso Carpazi finish.
Alain's original Geometric Table was a winner of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum's GOOD DESIGN AWARD for 2020. This award is the oldest design award in the world, entering its 73rd year this year and one of the most prestigious. We are delighted for Alain and the team at Bonaldo that their hard work has been recognised in this way.
