King Size Beds

King size beds have taken over from double beds in recent years, as they provide a little extra space and comfort, while not taking up too much extra space in the bedroom. All of these beds come with matching or complementary ranges of bedroom furniture too, allowing you to coordinate your bedroom perfectly.

What size is a king size bed?

It depends where it's made - a UK king size bed takes a 150cm x 200cm mattress, & a European (Euro) king takes a 160cm x 200cm mattress. Not all of our Italian makers make UK kings; you'll find them in our in-house collection & from Chaarme & A. Brito, with Euro kings across most other brands.

Will my UK king size mattress fit a Euro king bed?

Not properly - a Euro king is 10cm (4 inches) wider, so you'll need a Euro king mattress. They're very easy to find (some shops make them to order) & we make hand made pocket sprung ones too. Euro king bed linen is easy to buy online, though not in most UK shops.
