The Arketipo Back Pack sofa by Giuseppe Vigano is a modular seating system which takes its inspiration from the everyday usefulness of the humble back pack, one of the most practical and versatile items ever invented.
Back packs carry our not only our daily objects, but they give us flashbacks to our school days where life felt so much easier and the older we get we use them for travelling and experiencing new adventures, our love for the back pack is thus universal for so many reasons.
Taking inspiration from these memories and all the things that we throw into our backpacks (physical and metaphorical) the designer Vigano thought, why can’t I base a design on these very ideas. And in the Back Pack modular sofa he has created a sofa that is not only functional but looks like the most inviting place to sit for hours to relax, it takes the idea of what is comfortable to us for so many reasons and brings it to a whole new context.
Featuring deep plush cushions, a range of modules and a variety of different seat back options as well as high quality wooden coffee tables, Back Pack elements can be combined together to create a range of modular seating compositions.
For the sofa covers you can choose from several categories of fabric, ecoleather, or leather in a wide choice of colours from the Arketipo collection. Samples of all materials can be seen in our showroom & we can send samples on request. It is also possible to supply your own fabric or leather, subject to suitability.
With so many possible configurations for ease we have priced the Back Pack sofa Composition A which can be seen in the detailed images with a white background and also Composition G which is shown in the main image.
