We have one of the largest ranges of wardrobes with hinged doors in the UK, from 5 different Italian collections (who also make other contemporary furniture), including corner & fitted wardrobes & a wardrobe with curved ends & corners. Our amazing choice means that we can provide the perfect size for your bedroom in a finish that will look stunning.

Wardrobes with hanging (hinged) doors are more suitable for smaller widths or corners as they have the widest choice of cabinet/door sizes. They can also be cut to size, to fit under stairs etc, unlike sliding door wardrobes.

Our wardrobe designers can help you find the perfect size & style of wardrobe (not all of the options are on the website), but different sizes of wardrobes are priced here to give an indication of prices.

Wardrobes with Hinged Doors

We have a large selection of hinged doors wardrobes, many more than are shown on this page. We have five different ranges, but as the makers don't supply us with the photos of every wardrobe they make with sliding doors we are limited in what we can show here. However we have photos of most of the finishes on here (even if they are shown on a different wardrobe), & most finishes are available from most suppliers, for example four of the five make hinged doors in gloss lacquer. The reason we decided to have so much choice is that each supplier has slightly different sizes, so if you have exactly 1.25 metres we can find a wardrobe that will be 1.22 metres, whereas if we had one supplier we might only be able to offer 1 or 1.35 metres. Each different brand has a few handles & finishes that are exclusive to them as well, for example the Domino doors are unique to SMA, & not offered by Jesse.

Hinged door wardrobes are popular because they can fit into almost any size space from 92cm upwards, & are available in a large number of different size increments, & also fit into corners, which most sliding door wardrobes don't do. In addition, they can be less expensive than sliding door wardrobes, especially once you start looking at gloss lacquer or special glass doors.

If you are looking at bedroom wardrobes we have found that the best thing to do is to look at the different wardrobes to find a few you like. Don't worry about the colour shown in the photo as all wardrobes are available in a huge variety of colours & finishes, just get an idea of the type of doors you like. Our drop down menus give an indication of prices so once you have found a few you like & are happy with the price (don't forget the price doesn't include extra wardrobe fittings apart from 1 shelf & two rails) then measure your space carefully, looking at ceiling height & allowing for skirting boards, radiators etc. Then feel free to contact us via email or phone or come into our showroom. We have wardrobe specialists who will take you through the different wardrobes available & make some suggestions - we have all of the technical information, prices, catalogues & samples here - & once you have settled on a design they can draw it up on a computer to show you exactly how it will look & what the layout will be.

Once you have ordered your wardrobe it will take approximately 8-10 weeks to arrive from Italy, & if we are installing it for you it will be delivered directly to our team who will arrange your installation date & time with you. Our wardrobe assembly people are very experienced & work with some of the most prestigious names in the market. They can cut & put in 'filler panels' on the side of your wardrobe so that there are no visible spaces (these will need to be ordered with the wardrobe) & can do other small alterations. At the moment we can only install wardrobes in London, within the M25 & in Scotland, but this will change when we find someone who can meet our exacting standards.
