Wardrobes

Bedroom wardrobes are one of Go Modern's specialities and we have the largest collection of luxury Italian fitted wardrobes in the UK. Based in London we install throughout most of the UK, & work with both trade and private clients.

We partner with a wide range of top brands, designed for all budgets from the fantastic value Cinquanta collection to the ultimate in luxury, Molteni. In between these we have Pianca, DaFre, Novamobili, Caccaro, and Lema, with children's wardrobes (& bedrooms) from Battistella Nidi - so we can always recommend what is right for you, not just what we sell.

Our luxury wardrobes offer plenty of flexibility and can be designed to suit any style and space. There is an endless choice of colours, finishes and styles to choose from, with full customisation (depth, width & height & angle cutting) depending on the collection. Internal storage options in Italian wardrobes are second to none, & are designed to make the most of every square inch.

There are wardrobes with media options, & reduced depth wardrobes for hall storage, as well as 'service wardrobes' with extra space for appliances. This allow us to create custom built utility/laundry cupboards or rooms with specific laundry accessories, as well as wardrobes for use in bathrooms. These can all be installed as fitted furniture, or as freestanding.

We love awkward spaces. We can design fitted wardrobes for those difficult spaces such as under the stairs or below eaves, and our expert team of installers will ensure an exact fit.

For simplicity, we have separated our wardrobes into four categories: hinged door wardrobes, sliding door wardrobes, fitted wardrobes and walk-in wardrobes. We also have children's wardrobes (only a selection, as many are styles are shown in the children's bedrooms compositions but are not seperately). We also have glass doors & partitions from Glas Italia - sliding doors, pivot doors & hinged doors, along with glass panels perfect for walk-in wardrobes & dressing rooms.

Our team are always happy to help, so for trade enquiries or more information please do get in touch by email, phone us on 020 7731 9540, or visit our London showroom (in Chelsea & Fulham).

Wardrobes FAQs

Can your wardrobes be made to measure?

Yes - most of our wardrobes can be customised in width, height & depth, & some collections can also be angle cut. Exactly what can be changed (& whether there is a cost) depends on the collection - Pianca, for example, cut to size at no extra cost (straight cuts only). Our designers will tell you what is possible for your space.

How much space does a wardrobe need?

All wardrobes need a gap of at least 4cm at the top & a few cm either side for installation. Our installers can fit 'filler panels' to close any gaps & remove skirting boards if needed (quoted separately). Please check access carefully - doors & panels can be large - & let us know about any stairs or lifts before we give a final price.

Can you design my wardrobe if I can't visit?

Yes - we often price & install wardrobes without meeting in person. We can talk by Zoom or WhatsApp & send samples, & for walk in wardrobes our designers can do site visits within London if needed.

Do you have shallow wardrobes for hallways?

Yes - many of our wardrobes come as standard in a reduced depth of 42-45cm (standard is about 60cm), which is ideal for entrance halls & tight spaces. Pianca make 42cm & 59cm depths, & DaFre 42cm, 59cm & 73cm.

Can a wardrobe include a fold-down bed?

Yes - DaFre offer a drop-down bed module for their wardrobes, Cinquanta make wall beds, & Battistella Nidi children's wardrobes can include fold-down beds hidden behind doors.
