The Ghost carpet has been designed collaboratively by Marti Guixe and Nani Marquina, who is an award winning expert that specialises in high quality contemporary rug design.

Guixe wanted to recreate an old Kerman rug through the subtle use of black and white layering, which shows mythical pictorial designs of birds, flowers, horses and deer that come and go like ghosts.

The rug gets its amazing texture from being made by hand knotting the 100% New Zealand wool using the Indo Nepal technique, it has a density of 190.000 knots per meter squared and has a total height of 14mm.
