The Wai chest of drawers by Mario Mazzer for Bonaldo has three drawers and is made from canaletto walnut and would be a smart addition to any bedroom. Wai has a matching tall chest of drawers and a bedside table - see related products.

The shape of Wai's base recalls joined hands, a gesture used in Thailand and generally all over the East as a sign of welcome and to show respect; indeed, this gesture is called "wai".

For the base choose either matt painted anthracite grey or several metal finishes. The handles are in anthracite grey.

Mario has designed two collections of bedroom storage, the Wai and the Gala, both of which include bedside tables, chests of drawers and a tall chest. Both collections have recessed handles, however, their point of difference is in the shape of their bases.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
